These 2.5 years were a challenge for the whole family. While Ira spent the evenings immersing herself in British law and gnawing on granite in Middlesex, our villa turned into a kind of headquarters. Studying at Law is not just lectures, it is endless cases and preparation that consumed all my free time after work.

To be honest, I also have a role in this diploma. Several evenings a week I took full charge of our “kindergarten” - while Ira was studying, I managed life with three children. Anyone who lives in Dubai with a family will understand: getting everyone to sleep, following the lessons and not destroying the house is a separate form of art.

But now, when the whole family stood at the graduation and saw her with this diploma in her hands, a clear understanding came - it was worth it. This is our common victory. Ira is a huge fellow for carrying such a load, and I’m glad that I was able to become the very rear that allowed this to happen.
Now there is officially a British lawyer in the family, and I have legal evenings without codes and textbooks on the kitchen table. Let's move on!
